Howard University Dormitory Conversions in LeDroit Park Nearing Completion
Two projects by our DC Team are nearing completion at Carver Hall and Slowe Hall. Both are former Howard University dormitories being converted to residential apartments by Urban Investment Partners (UIP) and Neighborhood Development Company (NDC). We were lucky to work with the talented architects at Bonstra | Haresign ARCHITECTS (B|HA) on this great re-purposing project. Adding green roofs and working with the existing building footprints, while adding amenities and function to the buildings proved challenging at times, but the results are great additions to the LeDroit Park neighborhoods.
